Hagn Winery: 300 Years of Tradition, Innovation, and Sustainable Excellence.

The Hagn family’s winemaking journey began over 300 years ago in Mailberg, Lower Austria. While much has changed over the centuries, their commitment to viticulture remains unwavering. Combining tradition with modern innovation, the Hagn family has continuously evolved, staying true to their passion for winemaking. Today, with the help of a dedicated team of 50, they create exceptional experiences for customers through their wine gallery, tasting rooms, and globally recognized wines.

With over 50 hectares of vineyards, including the renowned Hundschupfen slope, the Hagn winery specializes in varieties such as Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay, and Blauer Zweigelt. The unique microclimate and chalky soils of Mailberg impart fresh, spicy aromas to their wines, contributing to numerous accolades, including seven "Winery of the Year" titles from the Lower Austrian Wine Gala.

Sustainability is at the heart of their philosophy. The Hagn winery employs eco-friendly practices, using solar energy, wood chip heating, and electric vehicles, while sourcing local raw materials. They are certified for sustainable practices, demonstrating their dedication to protecting the land for future generations while continuing to innovate in winemaking. Their journey is far from over.
